Tile Adhesives - Tile adhesives for use with underfloor heating
Hot Floors recommend Mira Tile adhesive for use with our underfloor heating mats and cables.
Mira provide a tile adhesive solution for every situation:-
- Mira 3130 - Mira 3130 Superfix is a flexible tile adhesive for use in all situations. It is ideal for use when fitting tiles on top of the underfloor heating mats and cables. Mira 3130 is White in colour.
- Mira 3230 - Mira 3230 Super Rapid fix is a fast drying flexible tile adhesive. Tiles can be grouted one hour after installation when Mira £230 is used. Super rapid fix is ideal when you want the job finished as quickly as possible. Mira 3230 can also be used to cover the heating mats or cables before tiling and Mira 3130 can be used to fix the tiles on top. The advantage of this method is it will reduce the risk of damaging the heating cable during the tiling process.
- Mira 7110 Base Cleaner - Mira 7110 Base Cleaner is used to provide a clean subfloor for tiling. Mira 7110 will remove all greasy / oily residue from the sub floor.
- Mira 4180 Primer - Mira 4180 Primer is used like PVA to help the tile adhesive bond to the sub floor.
- i-Primer - i-Primer is a PVA replacement that also has thermal insulating properties. i-Primer reduces heat loss by up to 20%, helping to reduce the running costs of your Underfloor Heating System.
Coverage :- Mira tile adhesives require 1KG of adhesive per 1 mm of depth per square metre. For example 5 KG's will cover 1 square metre with 5mm depth.
