Hot Floors have a huge range of wet room tanking products. As well as the Marmox boards and showerlays, we also stock the range of wet room products from Mira.
The most important thing with a wet room / shower is making sure it is 100% waterproof. We stock a range of products from Mira that provides a simply and cost effective way of ensuring there are no leaks and that you will have a wet room / shower that will last for years.
The following products are available to help you create your wet room. All the products are easy to use and suitable for both DIY and professionals:-
- Mira 4120 Sealer - Mira 4120 sealer is simple to use and enables you to seal plaster board and other surfaces before applying the 4400 Multicoat.
- Mira 4400 Multicoat - Mira 4400 Multicoat is a liquid neoprene that you paint on the walls and allow to dry creating a 100% waterproof barrier. It can painted directly on the walls and used with safecoat to create a waterproof membrane for the floor.
- Mira Safecoat - Mira Safecoat is a cloth material which is used to create a carrier for the 4400 multicoat which allows you to produce a much thicker coat. Safecoat comes in several forms: 1.0 metre wide rolls are available for floor coverage and wall coverage in the wet zones; 10cm wide rolls are available for waterproofing corners and where the walls meet the floor and are ideal for waterproofing the joints in the Marmox boards and shower trays. Also available are specialist seals for use in interior and exterior corners and for sealing around water pipes.
- Mira 4180 Primer - Mira 4180 Primer is used like PVA to help the tile adhesive bond to the sub floor.
