In order to get the most from any heating system, Insulation plays a key role. The better the room is insulated the better your heating system will work, giving you a faster heat up time and reduced running costs.
In new build projects, modern building regulations require a high degree on insulation by default. The biggest problem is in older buildings where the amount of insulation is unknown. It is therefore older buildings where insulation boards are ideal.
Marmox is boards are 100% waterproofed and are therefore ideal for use in bathrooms and wet rooms to provide a tanking solution. Our wet room kits use Marmox products in this way.
Marmox insulation boards have many properties that help to improve your underfloor heating system. These are:-
- Thermal Insulation - U value between 4.5 and 0.54 depending on board thickness
