In Screed Underfloor Heating Cable- The ideal solution for new build projects.
Hot Floors in screed heating cable is the same cable that is supplied with all of our other heating mats and cables with one small difference - we have added a lot more protection to the cable, making it suitable for use in the final floor screed in new build projects.
The in screed heating cables are easy to install. You simply use either the fixing strip or the reinforcement mesh to secure the cable and then pour the final floor screed.
Our in screed underfloor heating cables use the same technology as our other heating cables and mats. They are a thin (5mm) flexible, twin conductor heating cable. In Screed heating cables are easy to install - you simply lay out the cable strips (not provided) or the reinforcement mesh. The heating cable is then attached to the fixings to make sure it does not float up into the screed to much. Then the floor screed is poured. Once the finishing screed is dry the final floor covering can be installed.

The underfloor heating cable kits include the following:-

To install the in screed heating cable, you simply determine the spacing required to provide the required wattage per square metre. Then by using the fixing strip or the reinforcement mesh, install the cable at the required wattage. Once the floor screed has dried the final floor covering is simply installed on top.
The table below shows the available sizes for in screed heating cable system and the suggested wattages. Choose a system that will cover 85% of the available floor area. If you need any help to work out the available floor area, a guide is available. For primary heating we suggest a minimum wattage of 150 watts per square metres. The Cable only price does not include a thermostat.
