As you are reading this, you have already decided that Underfloor Heating may be a good idea for your next home, refurbishment or extension. At Hot Floors we want you to make the correct decision and buy the best underfloor heating products available. We go to great lengths to source our products. All our heating mats and cables are made in Germany and our Thermostat Controls are made in Denmark. They are all made to the latest standards.
Our under floor heating products come with a 10 year manufacturers warranty. This may differ to our competitors who may offer a lifetime guarantee, however there are usually numerous conditions (in the small print). We keep our guarantee simple with only one condition, that as long as there is no mechanical damage to the cable we will either repair it or provide a new underfloor heating mat or cable.
The thermostat we provide with our kits and other heating products is unique in that it comes with a 3 year warranty giving you the customer (and us) faith in the fact that our products will last. Our thermostat is also made in a VDE and BEAB approved factory. The thermostat is VDE approved and BEAB approved when used with our heating mats.
Choosing the best underfloor heating product for your project.
Choosing the heating product most suitable to your needs is easy. The best product is determined by what you choose to use as a final floor covering. The table below demonstrates which solution is best for each floor covering / subfloor combination:-

| Tiles / Stone Flooring | Concrete / Wooden | Either the 160 or 200 watts per square metre heating mats or the 3mm heating cable is suitable in this instance. For regular shaped / large rooms we would recommend the heating mats as they are much quicker to install. For a faster heat up time and reduced running costs you can also use the Marmox insulation boards or thermal primer. |
| Laminate / Engineered Floating Floor | ANY | Our wood floor heating products are ideal for use with floating floors. You simply install the IZO Floor insulation boards, followed by the wood floor heating mats. Then simply install the floating floor on top. You can also use the same method as described below. |
| Lino / Amtico / Carpet / Non floating wooden floor | ANY | Lino, Amtico, Carpet, solid wood etc requires you to use our 160 watts per square metre heating mats or heating cables with a flexible levelling compound. Simply lay the heating mat out on the sub floor, cover with approx 8mm of levelling compound then lay your flooring as normal on top. |
