Underfloor Heating Insulation - Insulation boards for use with the wood floor heating.
Hot Floors wood floor insulation is designed for use with our Aluminium Underfloor Heating Mats. These mats are for use with floating floors, including laminate flooring and engineered boards. The wood floor insulation boards also act as the underlay for the laminate or engineered flooring.
Wood floor insulation is for use with the aluminium wood floor heating mats. The insulation is made of compressed polystyrene and is simple to install. If required, you firstly install the damp proof membrane on the subfloor. the Damp proof membrane is usually a heavy duty polythene sheet. You then lay out the wood floor insulation, joining the sheets with duct tape. Once this is done, simply lay out the aluminium mats as required. Finally install the wood / laminate flooring directly on top of the aluminium wood floor mat(s).

- Impact sound insulation
- Moisture protection
- Floor levelling, can level floors by up to 4mm
- High load values - up to 6 tonnes per square metre
